The Symbols

For the title of my Flash, Game and comic that includes the characters below it is not the planet name or anything like that it is called The Symbol because I created two symbols a symbol of evil and a symbol of purity. I created Both symbols on Photoshop by collecting pictures of symbols, changing the colour then adding them together to get one symbol, I have a idea for three stories based on this that the symbols of the symbol of evil come true in time and that the symbol is a prophesy of Dark times, starting with death then leading to worse such as a Zombie Apocalypse then the Devils and Demons rising from the afterlife to destroy living beings in the war between good and evil.
  

This is the symbol of Purity 

For people to worship to for forgiveness or to purify the soul ,contact the peaceful Gods.

This is the Symbol of Evil

used for people in my world to worship demons and devils, basically all evil obviously. 

Flash and Comic Strip

I made up some characters for a fantasy game and used them in a comic strip that I had to make then did it with some animation on flash, these are three of the characters that I designed.

I drew the original characters and then went over them in Photoshop to make them look more realistic than a flat coloured look. it was fairly easy to draw and I'm not exactly the best drawer as you can see but the hardest bit was probably drawing the dreadlocks on the top guy but the effort was worth it.

Drawing

The other week I did some drawing using just a pencil and there was objects on a table and I had to draw what I see this is what I did.

Animation Planning

My planning for the next three weeks (Friday session)

16th: I am going to Totally complete my comic strip animation and strip with a side story is well.

23rd: I am going to Present my work to the group and also complete flash skills sheet.

30th: In review week I am going to reflect on my work and say what needs improving and what is good about my work next to a professional piece of work.


What I have learned so far is a massive amount of skills that I never knew about 26 weeks ago, since then I have learned more than the basics for Adobe Photoshop Flash and 3D Studio Max and my knowledge of these software is growing more and more.
What I am comfortable with in flash is making movie clips animate and understanding most of the software, the thing that I am not comfortable with is the programming and doing complicating buttons.

Peer Review

What I have just done is looked at pieces of work that was made in flash by people on my course, and what I did was I looked at their work and picked out what worked well and what could be improved, most of the animations were brilliantly done but with a few faults such as not completed or a few mistakes on the final layout.
When I looked at other peoples work I saw lots of different styles and ways of drawing, such as some people did comic strips with lots of animation and detailed drawings and some had a cartoon effect. It was a good exercise because we can tell each other what needs improving and learn different techniques that some people might know and others might not, what I showed was my comic strip that I'am creating in Adobe Flash CS3 featuring two Heroes that are trying to stop a evil villain who wants to shape the universe to how he likes it yet they stop him finishing with a cheesy joke.
