I'm happy with what I have created because its a level up from the models I have been creating and the working atmosphere was quite like what it would be in a games industries, I had a deadline of six hours to complete it.
This Description is not worth describing if the describing doesn't give a full description.

3D Max Timed Assessment
What I have done today is I have completed my basic car model that I have designed in 3D studio max using the sketches that I have posted recently on my blog. These are the renders I got from my model.
I'm happy with what I have created because its a level up from the models I have been creating and the working atmosphere was quite like what it would be in a games industries, I had a deadline of six hours to complete it.

3DS Max Concept Art
Before doing a timed assessment on 3D Studio Max I did a few drawings for ideas, at first I thought of making an alien spaceship that fly's around space...
but the idea lacked a bit and I changed my mind but I still wanted to do a vehicle that is futuristic and can fly through space so I thought of doing something a bit different to it and designed a flying space train, futuristic public transport, perfect...
But then I didn't like the drawing because it was too similar to the first one, so then I had a real think about what I would be happy designing, then it came to me like a hungry fat guy looking at a KFC, so for my final design I thought of a futuristic-suped-up-super-car, and this is what the design looks like.

I'm not the best artist but i took my time drawing it and tried to make it the best in the hour I did it in and all of these drawing relate to my mind map and mood board.

Bamboo
What we did was we played around with the graphic tablets to get used to how they work, the graphics tablet is made by a company called Bamboo pen & touch which lets you trace already drawn images or draw new images straight onto the computer, to load it up all I did was I opened photoshop, pluged in the tablet and hey presto, it works.
This is what the Bamboo tablet looks like, the tablet has four buttons on which one is a left mouse click and the other is a right mouse click but I am not sure about the other two.
On the pen it has a nib where the graphite would be on a normal pencil and this is a little bit of rounded of plastic where when it comes into contact with the tablet it makes a connection and the more the little nib goes into the pen, the darker the lines are on your drawing.
Also on the pen it has a rubber (not really a rubber but the same as the nib and it only rubs out) and it has a left mouse click and a right mouse click, so to control the curser you hover the pen about one inch off the tablet and move around.
When I used the tablet the other day I did a test drawing, and this is what my first drawing looks like.
Not really Picasso but its OK for a first drawing.

3D studio Max Vehicle Creating
What I did was I created a mind map on a A3 sheet of plain paper to create ideas for a vehicle to make on 3D studio max, I started of naming all the different types of vehicles, e.g. a car, motorbike, train, bus etc.
3D studio Max Textures
In 3d studio max what we did was focus on changing the texture on our objects, we started off with three standard primitives, a cube, a pyramid and a sphere then what we did was we presses ‘M’ on our key boards to get the Material editor up, when the window opened I was confronted by six grey spheres and loads of options like this.
We then clicked on the diffuse box, chose a colour then dragged the coloured sphere at the top to the shape that we wanted to change the colour on, or we clicked the box next to the diffuse button to choose a material for a different effect.
It looks like this.
Texture:Wood (Red)
Texture:Marble (Cyan)
There is a lot more options for textures but i have only used two.

Marshal Mathers
In this task we were set we had to choose a celebrity that we liked and upload it to Photoshop then we had to use the pen tool and go around the outline of the celebrity and use the fill tool to add colour so it looks like this.

The First Attempt At My House In 3D Studio Max
Creating the house in 3D studio max was fairly complicating but what I did first was i created a normal standard box with a height of 100, a width of 200 and a length of 100 and changed the length segments to 5, the width to 5 ad the height to 5. Then what I did was I selected all the polygons by selecting the modify tool, then I right clicked the word box and selected editable mesh then clicking on the polygon tool i could then select them and changed its height by choosing the (each individual segment by holding Ctrl and clicking the segments) on the top of the cuboid and clicking and holding the extrude tool and dragging it up.
I played around with the tools till I ended up with this.
